My Dentures Feel Loose

If your not happy with the current fitting of your denture and they feel loose and uncomfortable, a denture reline may be possible. With dentures it can be expected over time that your mouth will change, so your once well fitted denture, may start to not feel as snug or comfortable, and a denture reline may be required. A reline is when the bottom of the denture that fits onto your bone ridges, is altered to fit the new measurements in your mouth. Which makes the denture feel snug and comfortable again. Depending on the type of denture you have, the type of material used will mean if a reline is possible. It is much easier for the technician to reline an acrylic based denture rather than metal, as the material is more flexible and moldabe.
