What If My Denture Breaks?

Unfortunately there is no guarantee’s that your dentures won’t break. This goes for all types of dentures and for every level of materials and workmanship that can be used on your dentures.

We say this because accidents can happen and over time, general wear and tear can occur.

You can prolong the life of your dentures by being careful when using and storing them, and also by practicing a healthy oral hygiene routine. By allowing everyday bacteria and food debris to build up, they can start to damage your dentures and reduce their life span.

When your dentures are not in your mouth, they need to be stored in water to ensure they don’t dry out, as dentures that dry out can crack and break.
